Eucalyptus Leaves on Sunshade
Sardinia. A homey camping place with a nice café. Sitting and enjoying my cappuccino, my gaze turned to the sun… No, to the sunshade above, and I became aware of the shadow structures on it. My attention was caught by the different shapes of dry eucalyptus leaves and blossoms on the sunshade. I fetched my camera. There was only a short “slot” for the perfect shadow structures between 11 and 12 o’clock. I felt inspired. After three days the barkeeper put an end to my creative project by cleaning the sunshades. He was satisfied: It looked neat again.
